I would highly recommend this office. Mr. Jaquays and his office staff are compassionate and empathetic. The receptionist calmly listened to me when I would call and would provide valuable insight and help put my nerves at ease. The secretaries that I spoke to were very helpful and polite. Kim was fantastic to work with and always a delight to speak to. I also met the other attorney's in the office and they were all fantastic. Truly kind and compassionate. I was sad to see the negative reviews that others posted here, but I wonder if it is because they were on the other side of the office or were unreasonable themselves. I have never had a complaint and fully understood that things take time especially when the attorney has more than one case. I also did not have a problem with the billing practice. Everything is explained during the consult and there were no hidden fees.
I would highly recommend this law firm.. by far the best attorney in Will County.
Terrible experience with Dana. She makes huge scenes & is an embarrassment. It is a shame this women is in family law as she should have nothing to do with children and is not fit for family law. She literally stands up at the front & yells making herself seem out of control. She is not respected by judges.
The Law Firm of Edward Jaquays should be avoided in every matter of law. Mr. Jaquays and his staff of attorneys assure you that your goals and needs are their priority, cash the retainer check, and never look back. They then stuff their time with activities that are unnecessary and not contracted for so that they can over charge beyond any resonable measure. Save yourself, AVOID THIS CROOK.
Edward Jaquays and his incompetent fellow attorneys are nothing more than educated thieves. They will tell you anything to string you along and continue amassing huge amounts of billable hours. They will make deals with opposing attorneys which result in extended cases and make sure they are never prepared just enough to complete a court activities, always needed continuances, and this increasing your costs. I can think of no positives that the Jaquays firm offers their clients.
