When I filed for guardianship in 2022 for my aunt who lived local to Laurel, my aunt was living w/my cousins. Laurel advised my cousins to drive my aunt to Chicago from Tampa and leave her. They made this woman pack her own suitcase and drove her 1,200 miles with full intent on leaving her in my unsafe home that was never appropriate for an elderly person with significant medical history and co-morbidities with no medical team, no records, nothing. We called the police who directed my cousins to return my aunt to Tampa until the hearing. They drove her another 1,200 miles back home where she would then be sent to her cardiologist with chest palpitations and uncontrolled anxiety. My cousins put my aunt in stress-induced cardiomyopathy and she died less than a year later. After complaining to the BAR, the BAR stated that Laurel didn't do anything wrong. She was fully in her legal reasoning to advise her clients to do whatever but she didn't commit the act herself, my cousins did.
She is never available after you become her client. After 9 months of delays, I decided to switch to a more professional attorney to handle my car accident case. I was mailed a very expensive (over $2,000) attorney bill and we had never went to court, due to never being able to stay in contact with Ms. Farrell. I recommend researching the attorneys before choosing this one. I wish I had.
