About Peter D'Arcangelo

Peter D'Arcangelo is an accomplished attorney who transitioned from defense law to fulfill his passion for advocating for the injured. He graduated from Penn State University with a degree in economics and went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law. After law school, Peter clerked for the Honorable Anthony J. Mellaci, Jr., J.S.C. in Monmouth County, New Jersey.

After being admitted to the New Jersey Bar, Peter worked for a prominent national defense firm, eventually being promoted to partner, where he gained valuable experience in defense law. After several years practicing defense law, Peter realized that his true calling lay in representing those who have been injured. His transition to plaintiff's personal injury law was driven by his desire to make a positive impact and provide dedicated advocacy to individuals facing challenging legal situations. Peter's unique background in defense law brings a valuable perspective to his practice, allowing him to approach cases with a keen attention to detail and a deep understanding of the complexities involved. In recognition of his achievements and dedication to his clients, Peter has been honored as a NJ Super Lawyer Rising Star each year from 2018 - 2024, reflecting his commitment to excellence in legal representation.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
