I hired Kevin McConnell to manage the probate process for a small estate. He required 5% of the estimated estate value UP FRONT (non-refundable) for his firm's services, in addition to several probate processing fees, etc. I later learned from the County Clerk the typical fee for probates is no more than 4%, with only half payable upfront. Once paid, Kevin turned the matter over to his young legal asst, who was frequently unresponsive to calls & emails. Overpriced -- would not hire them again.

Hired Attorney Mr. Robert McConnell

he is a waste as a lawyer. he was given my Mother's guardian of estate Dec.10 2014. He never did what he was asked and would not meet with me or other family members as we were told he would. When it seems eminent that my Mother would pass in January,he said he would do nothing and just pass it all to her executor who was the person who lost the right as my Mother's poa on Dec.10!do not bother a minute of your money or time
