Hired Attorney

Hired this guy on a paternity test case. Did pretty much everything wrong along the way. Then went to try and get the remainder of my retainer fee back and was finally told a check had been mailed. Check never came. Then tried for 3 months to find out was going on and finally got a meeting and he informed me that actually I owed him 250$ but he was doing me a favor by not charging it. Ummmm, your secretary said you had mailed a check meaning I owe you nothing. You owe me. Guys a crook. Stay away from him.
