Trusts and Estates

I learnt the hard way the value of having an honest by the book attorney. For these inexplicable things that life presents us,I was directed to him. I am involved in an Estate and Trust assets distribution. The attorney I had prior to Mr. Coleman was driving me directly to jail and to be investigated by the IRS,due to the way he was treating Estate funds and beneficiaries. Mr. Coleman has been grateful,to say the least. His knowledge of the Estate and Trust laws goes without saying. He has been on top of my cases,at all times. His responsiveness is second to none. But I believe the most important aspect of his professional life is his HONESTY. Mr. Coleman will tell you not what you want to hear; he will straight up on how to get and what needs to happen to get what you want: time, cost, planning and best and worst scenario of your case, so you will know exactly what to expect. Thank you for representing me. My situation would be much worse without your research, diligence, and hard work

Powers of Attorney
Posted by anonymous

When my Mother received her diagnosis of Early Onset Alzheimer's both the PhD and I observed a documented decline in her ability to manage her money. It was agreed (my mother had recently revoked my brother's Power of Attorney) that I get POA so no one can interfere in her finances. I called and faxed the medical record to this attorney ahead of my arrival and made certain that the legal secretary and the lawyer himself were aware that others may try to trick her and this was to make it possible to oversee NOT control her finances as she was not in need of Guardianship. Not too long after, a family member shows up, tell them lies and without even verifying it give him Power of Attorney. To put it simply, I obtained POA legally by making sure my intent was clear. You let someone else trick MY MOTEHR OUT OF HER LIFE SAVINGS! I am reporting this lawyer to the Florida Bar.
