After receiving a moving violation, I reached out to a local Atlanta attorney who referred me to Mr. Valmus. Mr. Valmus' office contacted me straight away, requested/received documents and got started on my case. An unexpected trip out of town cause a need to continue the case, which was done without issue by Mr. Valmus and his staff. Brian was incredibly helpful for someone who knew nothing about estate planning. He was also incredibly knowledgable in the estate tax laws and how those could change.
Initially I was working with an associate. He was put on a different case, so I was passed to a partner. Then I was passed to another associate. My case has been going on for over 2 years and I have to be the one to ask for updates. Between communications the attorney working my case forgets the details and doesn't bother to review previous documents. My case is not a huge one but it is important to me. I do not get the impression they are working in my best interests.
