I was contacted by Beth Kernan on June 12, 2024. I am a Mobile Notary who is apt in adoptions, all real estate transactions, POA and many other transactions. It was 3 PM When she contacted me. She asked me if I could please have some adoption papers signed for 4 children and needed me to be there before 5 PM. I stopped what I was doing, cleaned up, printed the documents and drove to my destination. The adoption papers were completed, scanned and mailed back to her. As of August 11, 2024, I have not received payment. I have given her many options in which to pay, but I’ve not heard anything from her. She has ignored me for two months.
This woman is the reason there should be a -STAR. My poor husband had the displeasure of having her "represent" him. She didn't even know who he was in court after months of having the case. This lady is dealing with parents going through the fight of their lives. Their kids, and she doesn't so much as return a phone call or email. The bar will be hearing from me.
This woman did nothing to help my husband and I adopt my own niece from Florida. She never communicated with us and once I got to Florida tried to convince me that I should allow a single woman to adopt my niece. After I got home, back to New Jersey, she didn’t answer not one single phone call, text, or email for three months. She literally waited until the day before I was to speak with the state to contact me. Do not waste your money.
