I retained Tom to represent me in a relatively difficult divorce. From our initial consultation all the way through until we settled at Mediation, he was fantastic! He told me in our first meeting that if I simply listen to what he says and do as he advises, I will come out just fine. He was right!! What could have been a very drawn out and expensive divorce that we predicted would take 12-18 months and would most likely end up in litigation...settled through mediation in less than 3 months.

I was not happy with service I received. Tom actually screamed at me in front of my opposition. I would not recommend his service to anyone I cared about
The worst attorney I ever used. He gave me the wrong court date. They called me to ask where am I ask if he told me the corrext date. I had to rush across town to make the hearing. We got into an argument because I showed him proof that his office sent me a later court date for that hearing. Instead of him apologizing he asked me in front of the opposing counsel am I on drugs. Never did drugs a day In my life. I only drink 2x a year. Very unprofessional. So he tried to turn against me because the opposing counsel said they can get him into a specific country club and introduce him to powerful people. All he did was discuss and hang out with the opposing counsel in front of me. His micro aggressions started to come out, read in between lines. Once they get your money their real personality come out. He was more concerned about his personal gain than what he was hired for. Waste of money!!!!!
Thomas Gurrola is the worst lawyer! If you are a woman and getting a divorce, DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT hire him! He is not on your side. If I knew what then what I know now, I would have kept my $6000. He is nasty and rude as hell. I wrote the Bar but nothing happened but I gave it to my father in heaven and he will fight that battle!
Horrible, verbally abusive, lazy, doesn’t file paperwork timely or communicate yells and cusses and screams then hangs up on you. Garbage attorney, would never hire him or his office again also the Donna lady is very rude as well I had no idea he has an assault charge from a touch or strike on his record too. I can see why he’s so abusive over the phone only bullies which are cowards speak to people in that manner.
Thomas gurrola is a terrible attorney he is rude and condescending and screams and cusses and yells like a petulant child when ask simple questions doesn’t care about anything but what money he can get out of you needs his license revoked shouldn’t be allowed to practice law period doesn’t file paperwork doesn’t file evidence doesn’t care about witnesses
