Julia Hernandez is an Associate Attorney in the Jacksonville office. She is originally born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and moved to Florida to pursue her law degree. As a first generation immigrant daughter, she is completely fluent in Spanish.
Julia earned her J.D. from from Barry University School of Law. She graduated in 2020 with Environmental and Earth Law Honors. While in law school, Julia was elected and served as the Social Chair for Phi Alpha Delta’s law fraternity, assisted in Pro Bono events with the Immigration Law Society, and worked as a Legal Advocate in the Environmental Earth Law Clinic.
Prior to law school, Julia received her B.A. from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, as an English Literature major, and Psychology minor in 2014. After that she returned to Dallas, Texas, and worked as an Adjunct Professor at El Centro College. During her free time she volunteered with Paul Zolton and Catholic Charities translating for Spanish-speaking refugees seeking asylum.
Today, Julia enjoys her free time by taking nature hikes with her dog, traveling to new places, or watching the Dallas Cowboys.
