About Christine C. Whitney

Attorney Christine C. Whitney has been practicing health law for over 35 years and is licensed in both Florida and California. Her practice is dedicated solely to healthcare regulatory and transactional matters and alternative dispute resolution. She represents medical providers and health care practitioners in a wide variety of business, regulatory and operational issues and reimbursement disputes.

She handles joint ventures, contractual matters, state licensure, medical staff issues and the relationships between hospitals and physicians. She also serves as an arbitrator, mediator and hearing officer in health law disputes. Attorney Christine C. Whitney was one of the first attorneys to be certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in healthcare law, in 1995.

Ms. Whitney has devoted her entire professional career to health care issues. She has practiced health law in government, as in-house counsel and in private law firm settings. She is the former Director of Legal Affairs for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida.

Hired Attorney Christine C. Whitney

I asked Ms. Whitney to consult on a very complex medicare part D issue on behalf of my family. I needed advice whether to pursue litigation. Christine could have simply taken the case and the fees. Instead she did an exceptionally thorough due diligence investigation and recommended we NOT purse litigation because the potential for success was exceedingly low. Her knowledge is impressive and her ethics are outstanding. I would absolutely recommend her services.

I called on behalf of my company about an issue that the company was having with a healthcare company in regards to a change in the rate of reimbursement rate. I called Christine to see what my options are through her advice I was able to get a reimbursement rate of 100%. I will definitely use her again for legal advice.
