About Ashleigh M. Brooks

Ashleigh Brooks is an Associate in our Jacksonville office where she practices in general liability, medical malpractice, and premises liability matters.

Prior to joining HBS, Ashleigh was assistant state attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit and prosecuted crimes ranging from misdemeanors to first degree felonies. During her time there, she tried over 15 jury trials to verdict. She also worked as an associate with a local business litigation firm and handled insurance defense claims including matters regarding auto accident benefits, bad faith litigation, and workers’ compensation.

Ashleigh earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University and was a member of both the Stetson Law Trial Team and Vice President of the Black Law Students Association. She earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Criminology from the University of Florida.
