Alex King, a Jacksonville native, earned a dual degree in Political Science and Criminology from the University of Florida, graduating with honors and a 3.95 GPA. Recognized as a National Merit Scholar, he consistently achieved academic excellence, appearing on the Dean’s or President’s list each semester. He continued his education at the University of Florida’s law school, where he served as Managing Editor of two distinguished law journals and received accolades for his work in White Collar Crime. During law school, he clerked for the United States Attorney’s Office in Jacksonville and later for a Federal District Court Judge. After law school, Mr. King worked as an Assistant State Attorney, managing the DUI Unit for the Fourth Judicial Circuit. His work in DUI prosecutions earned him the Prosecutor of the Year award from Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). As a criminal defense attorney, he has represented business owners, medical professionals, law enforcement officers, and other clients in cases involving DUIs, fraud, and international drug offenses. With extensive trial experience in State and Federal Court, he has handled complex white-collar prosecutions and worked with legislative groups, prosecutors, and law enforcement officials across the southeastern United States.
