I noted a review that rated this firm low on responsiveness. I would say that if you find an attorney that consistently responds to your calls and emails quickly, you have an attorney that isn't very busy. Folks need to expect that their attorney is going to be busy in court, meetings, and other activities, and that a response time for non-emergencies of a business day or two is common among the firms I've dealt with.

I went to Lanis Karnes thru recommendations of one friend and 2 lawyers. I was not disappointed! The first time I went to her was for my grandson to get visitation rights because the Mom had moved out of state against court orders. Well, she got her facts together and got our great granddaughter back to Tennessee and in our custody!! She also went the extra mile and now I have adopted my great granddaughter.
