Attorney Alton Peterson wears a suit and looks nice, but that is the extent of anything I have to say that is nice about him. He stays extremely busy, misses deadlines. But I believe it because he does not turn down any money, he spreads himself thin. He takes you money and then look for the first exit, abandoning you and your case, and gone with your money. He talks in rhythms you never understands, and pretends to be proceeding on an angle or theory which makes no sense to you. He insults his clients and all but calls them stupid and suggest you need to find yourself another lawyer, and gone with your money while accomplishing noting on your behalf, nor attempting to. I once presented him with evidence that I subpoenaed because he would not, that the people who were suing me, had defrauded me in previous dealing with them. Attorney Peterson refused to pursue using that evidence, they were suing me for an alleged outstanding debt, I denied owing, with evidence of their fraud in past.

“Attorney Anita Stamps and her staff are rude and unprofessional. The staff incompetently miscalculated financial data. I was treated disrespectfully and it took over 10 days to receive my proceeds from closing. They didn't paid the mortgage company loan proceeds, had to file a complaint with the Mississippi Bar Association. I do not recommend.

I should have know something was suspicious because they don't even have a valid website..... My experience is they are all very unprofessional and not up to date with the latest technology. They say they will return phone calls but never do. Lack of communication. Not professional at all.

Unprepared, poor communication, lack of knowledge, unprofessional, rude where to begin?!?! DO NOT USE THIS FIRM FOR REAL ESTATE CLOSING. This was the worst closing I have ever experienced. There were errors in the closing calculations, they are unresponsive, don't return phone calls or emails. I had to wait over 10n days for my proceeds from closing to be issued. I try to support black business but they are the worst. Take your money and time somewhere else.

Attorney Peterson lacks integrity and fails to provide notifications of court appearances. Additionally, he does not prepare for court. Please do not be misled by the statement, "My wife is a sitting circuit judge." He did not perform any of the tasks for which I retained and paid cash for him to file and to bring before the court.

Mrs. Anita Stamps is a below average attorney. Why, because her communication is horrible, she’s not reliable, and her knowledge is not where it should be for someone who requests thousands of dollars. I hired her as my attorney months ago and paid her several thousands of dollars just for her to give a horrible service. To elaborate, she never responds to my calls and all I asked if you are unable to talk that day then at least have enough courtesy to respond to my emails. If you are looking for a highly skilled attorney, someone that is knowledgeable, reliable, and a great communicator I strongly suggest you look elsewhere because if not you will lose thousands of dollars and she will continue to drag your case because either she have no idea of how to manage your case or she is looking for more money. Either way it’s bad for you as a customer to deal with a con artist.
