This is the worst attorney in N.Y. Every time he opens his mouth is to tell another lie! He kept stringing me along for almost 3 years and did nothing. Do not hire this person! He should have his license taken away from him!

Hired Attorney Paul Tavelli

I retained Paul for a period of 2 years. He rarely responded to my emails, phone calls, pleas for assistance. Come the day of the hearing and he folded like a lawn chair. He never prepared and never called 1 witness on my behalf despite me doing a lot of leg work to give him information and a list of 50+ witnesses.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
