Emilee Lawson Hatch is an Attorney at Bousquet Holstein, PLLC. She concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, and estate and gift taxation. Emilee is a frequent lecturer and previous author of the Syracuse Law Review's Survey of New York Law. She has been named a New York Super Lawyers Rising Star.
Emilee was honored with the Onondaga County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyer Project Distinguished Service Pro Bono Award, as well as the 2015 NYSBA President’s Pro Bono Service Award for the 5th Judicial District.
Emilee is an advocate for lifelong learning. She believes in providing opportunities for all people to have access to education and legal services. Emilee demonstrates her commitment to the CNY community through her work with many local charitable organizations. She also serves as a volunteer at the Crouse & Upstate Hospital Legal Clinic, Surrogate's Court Legal Clinic, Vera House Legal Clinic, and the "Say Yes to Education" Legal Clinics.
She is a native of the Rocky Mountains, where she grew up in Evergreen, Colorado. After she earned her Bachelor’s degree, she traveled to New York where she received her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 2008. Following law school, she obtained an LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University Of Miami School Of Law. Emilee is admitted to practice law in New York, Massachusetts, and is awaiting admission in Colorado.
