Shashi Vijay is the founder of VJ Law Firm, established in the fall of 2010, with a mission to provide fast and affordable legal services to individuals, families, and small businesses in the Seattle Eastside area. With over five years of experience, she has successfully assisted hundreds of clients in various areas of law, including business formation, estate planning, real estate, and litigation.
Shashi Vijay holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Seattle University School of Law and has a certificate in paralegal studies from the University of Washington. She is admitted to practice in Washington state and Federal district courts. Currently, she serves on the Executive Committee of the Washington State Bar Association's solo and small practice section. In the past, she has held leadership positions as Chair of the Business Law and Solo/Small Firm sections of the King County Bar Association and served as a board director in the South Asian Bar Association of Washington.
Dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, Shashi Vijay actively participates in various organizations and groups. She is an active member of Washington Women Lawyers, Mother Attorneys of Seattle, Washington Young Lawyers, and the South Asian Bar Association of Washington. Furthermore, she serves as an ambassador to the Sammamish and Issaquah Chambers of Commerce and is a member of thinkRedmond.
Originally from India, Shashi Vijay now resides in Sammamish with her husband and two children. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, and hiking.
