Breeden & Breeden is a law firm with an office in Irvington, VA. At this office location, there are 2 lawyers practicing family law, divorce, child custody and 26 other areas of law.
Zero stars would be more suitable. I heard good things about Mr Breeden IN THE PAST. However I hired him in May 2024 for a family law matter. I provided him a ton of information and did much of his work for him.. 2 weeks before court in Nov he stated he was unprepared only because he was offended that I was seeking new counsel because of his lack of recollection, poor communication, and mishandling my very important case. But he never forgot to bill me a fortune every month while he can’t even read his own handwriting. All he cared about IMO was money. He’s also very rude to women. It seemed he didn’t care about my case at all. He waited until we were in front of the judge and dismissed himself from my case leaving me with no representation. With all due respect, he should consider retiring. His prime days are over. Don’t hire him for a family law matter.. big waste of time and a ton of money.
James Breeden abuses elderly women. He's a sad excuse for a human. His ex wife Barbara is just as bad, as she allows these things to go on their office. Don't trust these people. They care about nobody but themselves.
There is no one who answers the phone at the office. There is no email information to reach him. He does not read texts, and I played phone tag for over a week with him! I understand he has gotten older and his health is a concern. But as such, perhaps he should retire? The website doesn't work either by the way, so where does his client's money go towards?
Breeden and Breeden’s practice has devolved to the defense of registered sex offenders. Lawyers are old and over the hill. Avoid like the plague. Check out Joseph Patrick Conkle of White Stone Virginia. He was convicted of communicating with minors and works for Celebrate the Chesapeake, Northern Neck Style. They make cheap jewelry and travel around the Mid-Atlantic at public events. Definitely don’t let your kids get near them.
James “Gymbo” Breeden is a worn out hack of a lawyer. He chases ambulances and registered sex offenders, because he cannot find any other paying clients. I would rather be poked in the eye with a sharp stick than hire him.
James C Breeden is rude and not truthful!!!! He has a since of entitlement an acts like he has some kind of pull with the local Judges. That is not how the justice system should work.
