I am writing to express my concerns regarding my experience with Matt, who represented me during my divorce proceedings for over a year. Prior to retaining his services, I was impressed by his accomplishments and felt confident in his ability to handle my case. However, the divorce process turned out to be quite stressful. While he assured me that everything would be okay, I noticed that there were several instances when he arrived at court displaying signs of alcohol consumption, which left me feeling uneasy. Additionally, despite my repeated mentions of the opposing party's contempt of court, he indicated that he was hesitant to take action due to the fact that my ex-spouse is an attorney. Furthermore, while he documented evidence of my financial hardship, he failed to file a Request for Order (RFO) for the judge to consider this important information, which has left me in a difficult position. I believe that these issues reflect his lack of understanding of the court system.
