Unfortunately in order to post this review, I had to select a description that would describe her. I chose Determined because she was determined in not hearing all sides of the story when determining what is best for the children. Working with this lawyer as a GAL in a child custody case was an absolute nightmare. She is very one sided and does not work for the children’s best interest. She is not responsive and believes the lies of other parties involved without actually asking the opposing side for their response. I have several documents providing proof of financial support as well as text messages, photos, etc showing involvement in the children’s lives. She instead, takes the word of an unstable mother and other parties in the case and decides to remove parties in the case from MDT meetings, without the judge’s approval. If you get her assigned to your custody case, good luck. She doesn’t worry about the children, and definitely doesn’t remain unbiased with parties involved.
This lady is absolutely horrible. She was a GAL in a case regarding my child for child abuse and neglect. The GAL is supposed to have the child’s best interest at heart & she doesn’t have anything not a heart at all. I was the non-offending parent, but of course, in West Virginia Court systems, color protects color and that’s a fact! Let’s get down to the basis. This lady knowingly represented a man who had several FPO’s and breaking in entering charges/harassment you name it and she protected him throughout many years of his cases fast forward to this year. The mother of my child (the abuser in our child and neglect case) used to date this man after me and I call conflict of interest she decides to drop that “client”. This woman is a nutcase. How are you a GAL and never come to the home of the child to see how the child responds to its natural parent, but yet can make a decision based on where this child should be if you’ve never seen the child or how the child is in her parents home.
