In 2017, Seth and his family moved to the Philippines for 18 months while he volunteered as a legal fellow with IJM. IJM is a global charity with a plan to eliminate the slave trade everywhere. As an advisor to IJM’s team in Manila, he assisted Filipino prosecutors who handled cybersex-trafficking cases and designed trainings to help prosecutors more effectively prosecute these crimes in the Philippines. IJM reports that their cybersex trafficking cases have resulted in the rescue of over 500 children from online sexual exploitation, over 235 arrests and more than 73 convictions, with many legal cases still pending.
