Hired Attorney

This lawyer and their firm boasts a high success rate in retaining lost profits for landlords. I imagine it’s a very lucrative business! And - thanks to Republican lawmakers, who have effectively cleared the field for them - probably quite easy, too! During the COVID-19 crisis, evictions - and thus, billable hours to legal counsel - were at a historic low. No worries, though: Rachel received a $21,000 PPP loan from the federal government, which was of course forgiven. I guess she needed a little emergency assistance! I would have just told her to hit the bricks! She should have known better; should have worked harder! I also would have made her repay the loan - with interest accrued over the time it took to pay off, of course. But alas, I’m not in charge. Yet, anyway.
