Lisa McKinney is chair of the Hospitality, Alcoholic Beverage and Administrative Law Groups.
She has extensive experience in administrative matters before the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission (ATC), including policy and legislative task forces with the ATC, contract negotiations, ownership disclosures, alcohol and tobacco applications and renewal preparation, local board and ATC hearings, appeals, interim management agreements, purchase and sale agreements and responding to alleged violations. Lisa represents a range of clients from convenience stores, large retailers, restaurants, theaters, importers, big box stores, developers, hotels, golf courses, drug and grocery stores, wineries, breweries, artisan distillers, taverns and clubs. She represents clients in federal, state and international matters related to alcoholic beverage permitting (liquor licensing), production, distribution, labeling and marketing of alcohol products. In addition, she has extensive experience before the Hoosier Lottery and routinely obtains lottery permits and works on renewals for clients.
A 1992 graduate of Indiana University Maurer School of Law - Bloomington, she is past-president of the Alumni Board of Directors for the Indiana University Maurer School of Law Alumni, a member of the IU Maurer School of Law Board of Visitors and a representative for the Maurer School of Law on the IU Alumni Association Executive Council.

Lisa has written extensively on topics relating to hospitality law, as well as environmental law, including remediation cleanup, Brownfields development and contamination. Her articles have appeared in numerous publications, including the Indiana Lawyer, Hoosier Banker, Indianapolis Business Journal and publications for the American Bar Association and the Indiana Manufacturers Association. She is a frequent presenter, moderator and panelist, including participation in NALCP and IPCA events. Lisa served as 2009 ICLEF program chair on 'The ABC's of Alcoholic Beverage Laws: The Message in a Bottle' and was a panelist for the 2011 and 2010 Women's Leadership Conference.
