    Defense verdict for physician in civil rights case for alleged violation of the rights guaranteed by the 14th Amendment. Plaintiff argued that his rights were violated because of delay in treating
    diagnosing carpal tunnel syndrome, as well as delay in providing access to special permits. Federal jury returned verdict for Defendant physician. Defense verdict for county police officer
    police department in matter brought by estate of deceased college student, where police officer engaged in high speed pursuit of fleeing suspect, which ended with fleeing vehicle crashing into telephone pole,
    the death of the plaintiff's decedent. Plaintiff brought allegations of willful
    wanton negligence against officer for the initiation
    continuation of the pursuit. After week long trial, jury returned defense verdict in less than 30 minutes. Court found as a matter of law that physicians
    nurses were not deliberately indifferent to inmate's complaints related to potential mold exposure. Prior to summary judgment, plaintiff's expert was barred from offering testimony through a Daubert challenge motion, where it was found that the potential expert witness did not use sufficiently reliable testing methods to satisfy the expert testimony requirements of Daubert. Received summary judgment for psychiatrist at an Illinois correctional center, where it was established that there was not sufficient personal knowledge to satisfy claim of deliberate indifference against the defendant. Summary Judgment in favor of nurses
    physician, where court found that initial treatment for diabetes with medication,
    then eventual use of insulin, was not deliberate indifference as a matter of law. Summary Judgment in favor of insurance agency on allegations of defamation relating to communication with third parties following the departure of a number of the plaintiff's employees. Summary Judgment affirmed on appeal by the Fourth District. Defense verdict in favor of police office
    police department after week-long trial on allegations of willful
    wanton negligence arising out of police chase
    ultimate fatal crash in Macomb, IL.
