Don Poynter has been a managing partner of Poynter & Bucheri since 1996. He is a lifelong resident of Indiana, having grown up in Morgantown. He is a graduate of Indiana University with a BA in Economics and IU School of Law, Indianapolis.

Mr. Poynter practices personal injury law, having helped thousands of injured persons in their fights against insurance companies.

As an avid motorcyclists, Don is particularly aware of the dangers cars and trucks pose to bikers. He loves to fight vigorously for their rights of riders.

In his spare time, Don enjoys traveling, gaming and movies.

Hired Attorney

Don Poynter did everything to help us get something from our insurance company when they refused to pay us. He was professional and always got back to me in a timely manner. I definitely recommend him if you ever need help in a personal injury case!

Don was awesome to work with. He was very calm and patient even though we had a lot of questions for him. We were a little stressed out about what it was going to take to get our partnership agreement and liability waiver, but Don put them together very efficiently and much quicker than we expected. We were also very impressed with the quality of the documents and his ability to explain everything we were unsure about in layman’s terms.
