N400 processing citizenship

Answered by attorney Alan Lee
Immigration lawyer at Alan Lee Arthur Lee, Attorneys at Law
From looking at the U.S.C.I.S. processing time chart, it appears that naturalization interviews in Oakland Park are being scheduled between 9-10 months from the date of submission. As fingerprints are usually taken approximately 1-2 months after submission, I assume that you filed in October or November 2016. Assuming that the processing time chart is accurate and that this is a normal case, you could expect to be called for an interview within the next 2 months. Over the years I have come to realize that just about anything can and will effect a case. Usually they come up at times that are problematic. If you want peace of mind have a consultation with an experienced Immigration Attorney who can review all aspects of your case. Many, such as myself, will do them by telephone.

Typically, lawyer's cannot share fees with non-lawyers. I'm not sure what your arrangement is but, any attorney getting it a business arrangement with a non-attorney must be very careful.
