The fastest way is always a person coming to the US for a personal visit. Whether it is the easiest depends upon the individual's immigration history, bonds in the home country, and reason for visiting this country. An employer/employee sponsorship is slower because it usually entails some type of petition being drawn up and approved prior to the individual being able to come to the States. Depending upon the type of employment sponsorship and how it looks to an immigration official, coming to the US through this method might or might not be easier than through a personal visit. What does USCIS mean by "your benefit request has been accepted and is under review"? Is our i130 resting in a drawer or someone is working on it?

Answered by attorney Alan Lee
Immigration lawyer at Alan Lee Arthur Lee, Attorneys at Law
We have received many messages from Immigration saying the same, and is still takes U.S.C.I.S. a long time to make adjudications on the cases. While I am not saying that the cases are resting in a drawer, it does seem as if the work is very slow. Can I marry an US citizen as soon as I enter in the US on a F-1 visa, and not enroll in school?

Answered by attorney Stephen Arnold Black
Immigration lawyer at The Law Office of Stephen A. Black
The issue of immigrant intent on entering the US is an issue that DHS takes very seriously. If you intend to enter the country on a student visa, but conceal your real intent , which is entering the country to marry an American Citizen, you may be committing immigration fraud. Your safest and best bet would be to retain Immigration counsel here in Florida to make certain that your application is processed correctly.
