Can my husband be deported?

Answered by attorney Lynne Rogers Feldman
Immigration lawyer at Feldman Feldman Associates, PC
Did USCIS find marriage fraud in his first marriage? Is he in front of an immigration Judge? I would need more facts to answers your question. We would be happy to assess his case, advise more specifics on the procedures, timing and fees if you want to set up a consultation (in person or by phone) with me as indicated below. We do charge for consultation but the consultation fee is then credited 100% toward the fees for your case.

Can I renew my Green Card to Permanent Green card if I am on probation for 18 months for position of Control Substance (Incense)?

Answered by attorney David H Nachman
Immigration lawyer at NPZ Law Group
The question you are asking here requires an analysis of the criminal charge and the police report. We highly recommend that you consult with a qualified immigration law professional before: (1) renewing your green card; and/or (2) traveling outside the U.S.; and (3) applying for U.S. Citizenship.

Moving Company with I140 approved

Answered by attorney Alan Lee
Immigration lawyer at Alan Lee Arthur Lee, Attorneys at Law
You have not mentioned that you filed an I-485 application to adjust status and so I will assume that you have only an I-140 approval. With the I-140 approval, and assuming that the I-140 priority date has not been reached, you can file a new H-1B petition with company B and the company can request three years for your employment. You are also entitled to the priority date of the approved I-140 in most circumstances if company B decides to sponsor you for your immigration. The risks are the common ones of whether your future job is sufficient to secure H-1B approval and a future I-140 approval and whether U.S.C.I.S. or an American consulate officer will continue to recognize the I-140 approval in the future if you have further H-1B transfers or require an extension of your H-1B from company B.Due to the limitations of the Lawyers.com Forums, Alan Lee, Esq.'s (the "Firm") participation in responding to questions posted herein does not constitute legal advice, nor legal representation of the person or entity posting a question.
