Yes. I've done these types of cases before. As long as you are still in legal unexpired status, you can apply for adjustment of status (residency) immediately without having to return to your home country.

As long as you are a USA citizen and he entered legally and is otherwise admissible, once you get married, the two of you can file all the required documents to apply for the green card.

You must be able to establish domicile in the US at the time of your husband's immigration. Being in the US would be advisable.
