Do you know if a copy from selective serv website that i regestered will be taking by uscis

Answered by attorney Doreen A. Emenike
Immigration lawyer at Law Offices of Doreen A Emenike
Hello,  Selective service registration is a requirement by the USCIS for males who have been granted Legal permanent residency and are 26 years old or less. The USCIS may seek proof of compliance should you seek to file for U.S. citizenship. It is unlikely that the USCIS would visit the website on your behalf as the burden is on you to provide proof of registration. It is a good idea to keep a copy of your selective service registration to show that you have met this  registration requirement.  Disclaimer: This information is of a general nature and is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice. You should consult an attorney for advice regarding your individual situation. Doreen Emenike, Attorney at Law _________________________

Will proof of financial support for my boyfriend/fiancé be requested for a fiancé visa?

Answered by attorney Eric Arden Fisher (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at The Law Office of Eric A. Fisher, LLC
You will need to provide tax returns to sponsor your fiance. If your parents are willing to co-sponsor, their income can be added to yours to meet the guidelines. I do not believe a Swedish citizen can apply for a fiance visa at the US Embassy in Denmark. He will most likely have to go to Stockholm for that, but you start the process by filing a petition in the U.S.

Can my mother get residency when I turn 21?

If you are a US citizen, you can file a visa petition for your mother when you turn 21. Whether or not she can apply for legal status depends on her background and history. She should speak with an immigration attorney.
