If you have had no prior proceedings against you and if you obtained the advance parole under DA CA standards, I see no reason why you cannot use the advance parole which you now possess. Hello. If you were a C1 cruise line employee, it was correctly denied. You will need to process through the US Embassy in your home country. You should have that local office forward the I-130 to the Embassy.

The whole process takes about eight months and possibly longer due to the Covid virus. Consider retaining counsel to represent you from start to finish to handle your case. Some of his charge a very affordable flat fee, and represent you from beginning to end.
