Could I go to Canada with my 2-year green card?

Answered by attorney Harun Kazmi
Immigration lawyer at Kazmi & Sakata
Sure. If you are a Conditional Permanent Resident with no arrests, you will have no problem returning to the US with the green card and your passport.  If you are not Canadian, you may need a visa based on your nationality. You should verify with the Canadian Embassy.

Your question requires an attorney consultation. It is not a simple question that can be answered on this type of forum. There are many factors that would need to be considered and evaluated. I strongly suggest that you contact an experienced immigration attorney for a face-to-face consultation and give him/her all of the facts surrounding your situation. He/she would then be in a better position to analyze your case and advise you of your options.

Immagration help I-130

Answered by attorney Harun Kazmi
Immigration lawyer at Kazmi & Sakata
Hello. There are many applications that are necessary to sponsor a spouse. The initial family petition is submitted along with biographical forms and documentation. The financial support will not be required until just prior to his interview at the US Embassy. You can have a joint sponsor, and they can use their assets for proof.  In order to better advise, I would need more information about your relationship and marital history. Thanks.
