I was at an extremely vulnerable life moment in divorce from domestic abuser. Exes actions CLEARLY organized and documented as well as financials clearly indicated my need for spousal support and his delay tactics to draw out divorce. Julie was unresponsive, her processes extremely antiquaited anf out dated to the point she doesnt even check her own email caysing delays and miscommunications. Her sole focus is on taking your money. She wasted time and billed me for her slowness and her office assistant is frankly the rudest most dismissive person Ive met in my entire life - and i divorced a narcissist so thats saying something. She is coasting into retirement. Dont waste your money because she caused me to lose everything despite beung handed an organized softball case. Zero stars. During trial and motuons she couldnt even keep her thoughts straight and was careless with her words and making false statements! She failed epically and didnt care and was defensive when confronted.
I do not recommend hiring Julie Wacker Hanjanj as your lawyer. Her behavior is dishonest, predatory, and unethical. The assistant is always short, rude, and unprofessional - she never identified herself when answering the phone. The office ignored my urgent messages for days. They never returned my follow up calls regarding concerns or questions. The initial consultation was great, but it was very deceiving. I had a bad feeling during that consultation and ignored it. Reluctantly, I paid and then changed my mind before anything got started and nothing was done. She ignored all my messages, and after a week, finally returned the retainer minus $300 she felt she was owed for one hour. The verbal agreement was my entire retainer was to be returned. She took the money because she clicked a button to open a case, and claimed to have reviewed information. She lied. Nothing was done. Learn from my mistake, do not hire this woman.
Poor communication and performance. Liberal office talk was heard about other cases in the waiting room. Waste of time and money, I should have chose better.
