Ms. Ward proved a severe disappointment! After our initial consultation, she said she'd be phoning opposing counsel to get started on my case. That was the last I ever heard from her. She charged a $350 consultation fee for a consult that barely lasted 30 minutes, if that, then never asked for a retainer or sent me a contract, despite having me set up a MyCase file for our communications. In fact, in over three weeks, no visible action at all was taken on my case, despite the fact that I had told both Ms. Ward & her assistant that it was a time-sensitive issue. When I asked for updates & progress reports, her assistant repeatedly informed me that Ms. Ward was "in conference" & that they'd get back to me. They never did. It was all completely unprofessional.
