Having no idea what to expect, I was so pleased with my first interactions with Sarah and her Office Assistant, Dawn. I called other attorney offices, but Dawn was the only person I spoke to on the phone who realized my case needed to be filed in a different county...which Sarah was also more than willing to do. Before my first meeting, they sent me a packet that helped me gather all the information we would need for my case. In all of my meetings with Sarah, I found her to be dedicated, knowledgeable, professional, easy to talk to, and she gave great advice. She explained the entire process and answered all my questions. She was very understanding and compassionate to me, but I had no doubt I'd see her tough side if my case called for it. The best of the best!!! Usually when it comes to being a man in child custody or child support the man usually has to come out of pocket thousands. I was the defendant in my case and the plaintiff had to pay my court fee’s on multiple occasions. She stood up for me against DHR and the plaintiffs lawyers to make sure everything was fair and correct. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome.

Sarah was exactly what I needed to get through the last 11 months without losing my emotional regulation and piece of mind. After a bad experience with two different attorney’s, I was skeptical. I had it set in my mind that all attorneys were the same…..just out for the money, but I needed one regardless. Sarah changed that perception. Any question I had, Sarah answered in a way I could understand, not the legal lingo that goes over my head. Anytime I sent an email, within a day, (typically sooner), I had a response. If I called, I either got Sarah, or she promptly got back to me. Sarah helped get my son out of a very neglectful situation, in which I thought, at minimum, he would be stuck in at least half the time. I can’t thank Sarah enough for what’s she’s done for me and my son. He actually thinks she saved his life. Grateful for Sarah, outstanding attorney if you need a family law attorney. Ladies and gentleman I can not began to tell you how invaluable she is if you just listen to her. I still used her for advice when handling issues with my ex-wife and her ability to explain the situation and give proper guidance is well beyond any other attorney I’ve spoken with. I made a good choice with Ms. Sarah Meigs. After we finalized paperwork she got my kids back to their home after I hadn’t seen them in over two weeks, in just two days just like she promised. Everything she said she would do, she did and did quickly. Everything little thing I asked or any communication I initiated, she replied promptly. I relied on her family law expertise as well as her down to earth knowledge of custody issues. I am an unmarried male with zero prior experience with any lawyer or court and got everything I wanted and hoped for my kids.
