Upon graduation, he was appointed Assistant District Attorney to the Hon. Robert M. Morgenthau, District Attorney of New York County, where he served in both the Appeals Bureau and the Trial Division. In 1980, Mr. Hamburger began a two-year position as Law Assistant to the Hon. Bernard S. Meyer, Judge of the New York Court of Appeals, the highest court in New York State. Mr. Hamburger's areas of concentration include commercial litigation, business and corporate law, education and municipal law, zoning and land use, environmental law, civil rights, employment discrimination, health care law, and real estate.
