I found out the hard way just because an attorney is elected as the president of the bar association doesn’t mean they’re any good. She loses documents, fails to file, does not listen to you, overcharges, inflates charges, does not do her job. Attorney is supposed to watch out for your best interest. She failed in this numerous times. She lets the opposing counsel do her work for her during most of the case. How ethical is that? As a client attorneys work for you and are supposed to do what you request, she refused, and failed to protect our rights on numerous occasions. During court trial she couldn’t find documents most of the time, she had to ask opposing counsel for documents. She was more concerned about missing her vacation than doing her job. She was clearly unprepared for the trial and then had the nerve to charge an exorbitant amount.
