I went to him for his expertise in personal injury cases.
In the beginning he seemed competent. He did not follow through on the judgement the court spelled out. As a result I lost a lot of money. I not only lost the money I paid him but I lost the money that the court determined was to be paid to me bc he didn't follow through with the person I sued. When I spoke with him he said there was nothing he could do and all he had to do was to go back to the court to have them pay what the judge handed down in his judgement. At the time I was dealing with a family emergency and consequently I couldn't do anything. Very incompetent.
I have been dealing with the law office of Darrin Berger for over 3 years. In that 3 years, I have not received call backs nor e-mail responses to my questions, or anything else for that matter. They do not inform you of anything they do which I believe at this point is nothing. They leave the client to fend for themselves and then when they screw up, they turn around and say they were unaware of things. Terrible, terrible office. Stay clear!!!!
Had Darrin as counsel for almost 2 years. Exceptionally poor communicator through email. If you don't keep constant tabs on his office they don't do the work. When you do check up on them for updates they don't respond. It's rare when you don't have to send documentation or materials to his office twice. Forced to resubmit to the court because of errors his office made. Everything takes twice as long as it should, court expressed frustration w/ him as well. He doesn't deserve your business.
