He may be a small town lawyer but very affordable and good at his job.

Hired Attorney Mr. Gary Stovall

I hired Attorney Corky Stovall to handle my divorce. He wanted $6,000 upfront. He said that the money would be in a trust fund & he would take out of the trust as he needed to. All he did for me was get the divorce filed. I tried to contact him about other things & he would not return my calls. I went to his office I think 2-3 times & every time I went, he acted like he didn’t want to take my case (He was too busy he didn’t have time for me). I decided not to go through with the divorce $ when I contacted him about a refund, he didn’t return my calls. I called him three times in two months. Misty finally told me I had no refund coming per my contract. I don’t understand All he did was filed for the divorce & yet he won’t refund me any money. I talked To Misty about an itemized statement & she said she would talk to him about it (she wasn’t very nice about it). I had to call back and leave my Daingerfield Address. Read everything you sign at his office very carefully.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

Attorneys that receive reviews from their peers, but not a sufficient number to establish a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating, will have those reviews display on our websites.
