About Robert Clark

Attorney Clark began his legal career in corporate tax, where he eventually became specialized in the global tax optimization of multinational corporate entities.  His own experience with divorce showed him that divorce is unlike other types of litigation and requires a special kind of lawyer who can temper aggressiveness with straightforwardness and practicality, one who will listen to his clients' concerns, advocate fiercely for them and their children, and never be afraid to tell them when they are wrong.  His mission is to be this kind of advocate.       With his background in finance, Attorney Clark is more comfortable than most at interpreting tax returns and financial statements, tracking hidden assets, and enabling his clients to keep the assets that are important to them.  In the context of child custody, he believes firmly in working collaboratively to find mutual solutions that best serve children’s interests while addressing their parents’ concerns.     Attorney Clark is an active member of the Massachusetts Association of Guardians ad Litem, the Divorce Center, and the family law sections of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association.  He serves from time to time as a guardian ad litem in care and custody investigations for the Probate and Family Courts, as well as appointed counsel in care and protection proceedings initiated by the Department of Children and Families.   Attorney Clark is a 1989 graduate of Dartmouth College.  He received his J.D. in 1994 from the Washington College of Law at American University, where he served as managing editor of the Law Review, and his LL.M. in taxation in 1995 from the New York University School of Law.  He was admitted to practice in New York in 1995 and Massachusetts in 2002.

Hired Attorney

Guy is a real piece of work, came in for help on a divorce agreement that was not good. He spent 20 minutes repeating himself, offered that he had no idea if there's a case. Proceeded to yell at at me twice because he doesn't know any answers. Then after reading the agreement his words "I have no clue what this says, id contact the attorney who you hired to write it. But I can understand any of it" you're a family law lawyer rob????? When I left he answered nothing yelled at me and charged me 600 for 30 mins..... when I wrote a email to complain about it, he apologized explaining he was on edge that day because he was going on a date with some woman and was nervous about it.......wrote all about the movie and gave me a review. I CAN NOT believe this guy passed the bar and is practicing law. Absolutely atrocious and just criminal that he charged 600 for a consultation and answered nothing ended with "i don't know if there is something worth pursuing " watch out folks.
