He is amazing because he cares more about people and doing the right thing than he does money. I was falsely arrested and he made sure the case was dropped even though they were hell bent on prosecuting me. He went above and beyond to make sure the truth came out.

Please do not hire this attorney!! I don't know how he even was allowed to practice law In Michigan again. I retianed him as my lawyer, and he basically took my money and disappeared!! I had to make a formal grievance to the Michigan grievance commission. I also had to jump through hoops to get my money refunded. Do not hire him !!!! He's a theif

He took my money, lied and lied and lied about deaths in his family, family crisis, whatever. Never filed anything after 6 mos. Word on the grapevine is he has a gambling problem. Other lawyers won't sue him because ha has no money - just gambles it all away. Most calls, texts and voicemails went unreturned. He ought to be locked up. Human scum, run the other way.

Please do not use this lawyer! He lied and stole our money! Made tons of promises and said he filed paperwork and never did! Even canceled meetings claiming his mother died and she did not! Please everyone that has anything happen file a complaint against him with the Michigan bar! This man can not keep doing this to people!

Stephen LaCommare took my money told me I had a court date on July 17th 2020 and did not even file a motion. He put me in a real bad position. He was untrustworthy unreliable would not return phone calls or text messages. Refuse to give me an explanation why he did not file the motion and gave me a fake court date. when I confronted him after getting a hold of the courts and finding out. He would not give me my money back either and did nothing for me but make things worse. He is a smooth talker but watch out he may take your money and steal it to. He's getting a reputation for doing that these days. He used to be a great attorney. Something made him go downhill.

One word: Unprofessional. Our family retained him to resolve a legal matter several months ago. Steve did only part of the job and we had to retain him AGAIN to complete the work he should have done to begin with. After receiving the second retainer, Steve canceled every appointment we've made to discuss the case, kept our money, refuses to return phone calls and emails and will not even provide us with a statement of accounts for us to request return of the balance of the retainer!
