About Mr. William S. Shepherd, Jr.

William (“Bill”) Shepherd, founder and named partner of Shepherd, Smith, Edwards, and Kantas, LLP, has been a tireless supporter of investor protection and rights for over 25 years. His successful career representing individual investors in securities-related investment disputes across the U.S. has provided the firm with valuable insight and knowledge on the financial industry’s past, present, and future.

Before founding and opening this firm’s doors, Mr. Shepherd served in various positions spanning more than 20 years within the financial industry, working in key roles that would inform and influence his understanding of the industry. He was the Vice President of several major brokerage firms as well as an advisor for individuals, banks and other financial institutions looking for assistance with their investment portfolios. Mr. Shepherd was also formerly employed by and has served as an advisor to the U.S. Congress. Mr. Shepherd’s distinguished legal career has set the bar for excellence in the practice of securities litigation.
