Hired Attorney

Does not communicate. Puts on airs. Lacking in basic decency. Takes retainer but does not following up. Discuss my case with outside counsel I did not approve of. Do not hire this attorne Does not work for me

During my divorce mediation, Shailey-Gupta-Brietzke was busy looking at her computer screen perhaps preparing for another case. She wanted to settle continuously and my ex and the mediator obtained me more from the divorce. I should have represented myself out of this because this attorney didn’t do anything. The other attorney was fresh out of school and was better than Shailey

Pathological Liar & Unethical If you choose her as your attorney you better make sure you tape record every single conversation with her- even the consultation. She’s going to Lie and “Gaslight” (google that word if you don’t know what it means) you. $8,000.00 later....no temporary orders, no mediation, not even a scheduled mediation, and no hearing. Not a domestic abuse advocate Hates children preoccupied social media & fantasizes of being a judge one day If she still with a law firm Carter Morris by the time you’re reading this I would suggest paying the extra hundred dollars an hour and getting Patricia Carter to represent you. She’s actually good family law attorney- probably one of the best in Houston. And she has ownership in that practice so she cares

Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
