Monica lives in Katy, Texas. She and her family have lived in Katy for over 20 years. She attended and graduated from Katy High high school, Monica graduated from the University of Saint Thomas in Houston, Texas with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Theology. She then attended South Texas College of Law, where she focused her legal studies on transactional law, including estate planning, probate, and business law. After passing the bar in 2016, Monica has focused her practice of law in the area of estate planning and probate. She is a member of the Texas Bar and the Houston Bar Association.
