Cut and dry case of abuse and divorce. Charged me 15k and took the 10k the judge awarded me for attorney fees. Monsters. I got exactly 2k back at the end. No divorce, all excuses. Run. Run so far away from this lady and her brainwashed team!! Nightmare from the very beginning, Marcela belittles her employees. It’s digustusting!!
Marcela Halmagean poses one skill - LIE to her clients about her ability to win the case. First of all, she uses her license to take people’s money and provide zero value added services. She is full of resentment, cruel and lacks character. Do not believe any of the reviews posted on her website - they must have bribed people to write reviews.

As a professional, I understand that people are not perfect. However, Marcela is using her license to extort people of hard earned money. I have an easy case and charged me almost 20k to begin the work. Despite, the easiness of the case, she kept on billing me and when I asked pertinent questions regarding my case, she provided excuses and excuses….. and no solutions. She lacks empathy and does the work for money only. Additionally, she loves to threaten people and pretend that she is entitled to do whatever she wants. I regret not doing my research and taking for face value the reviews listed on her website. It daunted on me that she claims to be so experienced- over 25 years - yet on her website she has a handful of reviews. Something is terribly wrong! Again, I am deeply sorry for writing this review. However, I do not want other people that are experiencing trying times to have their hard earned money stolen. She is rootless and comes to hearings unprepared.
