Licensed in Texas since 2013, attorney Kevin Acevedo has spent his career handling cases where the outcome truly matters. After living in Puerto Rico and later San Antonio, he relocated to Houston in 2015 to serve the community and grow his courtroom practice. He went on to lead multiple practice areas at The Gonzalez Law Group, directing personal injury, civil, and criminal defense matters and working with thousands of clients throughout Greater Houston and surrounding counties such as Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Galveston, and Brazoria. As a bilingual attorney, Kevin communicates in both Spanish and English and prioritizes clarity, responsiveness, and respect for every client he represents. Colleagues and clients often describe him as strategic and street-smart, someone who prepares thoroughly, stays ready for trial, and does not back down when the odds are difficult. In January 2025, he founded Ace Law in Houston, where his team handles personal injury claims, criminal defense, and civil and business disputes, with additional guidance for complex immigration situations. Kevin also appears on local television to discuss major legal stories for Latino media outlets and has contributed to nationally televised segments. When he’s not working, he relaxes at home by the pool with his wife, their two pugs, and their cat.
