During my last week of four weeks in ICU due to a MVA that almost killed me, requiring 26 days in ICU and another 20 days in the hospital for rehab, followed by three months of outpatint rehab. MVA Attorney John K. Zaid and his brother "Joe I. Zaid" at the urging of Attorney "Sam Veenstra" made a "secret" deal to "scam me" out of over $ 70 000.00 and costing me an additional$ 14, 000.00 because of incompetence and not forwarding bills (Lien offsets) that were applicable to my MVA. Both Zaid brothers and Attorney Sam Veenstra "screwed" me financially and lied to my face. While still in ICU and under the influence of "several mixes of pain killers" which resulted in me being delusional and incapacitated and I did not possess the competency and capacity to enter into any contract, or make any legal decisions.
Thev Trxas State Bar should probe this Attorney for his total violation ofthevTexas Penal Cde code § 38.12 which states, "(a) A person commits an offense if, with "intent to obtain" an economic "benefit the person": (2) solicits "employment", either in person or by telephone, for "himself or for another"
If you live paycheck to paycheck, like I do, DON'T use these lawyers. If you don't have enough savings on hand to survive for a year or two, DON'T use these lawyers. I was T-boned by a huge work truck in April 2024. My injuries were extensive. I am now seeking disability because I can't work anymore, but disability takes awhile. Since my wreck, I have become homeless, I go hungry, and I can only keep my phone bill paid sporadically. In November 2024, I told my Zaid lawyer, Jacob Mustafa, that I MUST settle by the end of the year 2024, or I would be homeless and hungry. This is almost May of 2025, and still no settlement. Now, I am completely homeless. I go without food daily. All because some idiot was on his phone, and literally wrecked my life. All because I didn't research personal injury lawyers better. If you have money and resources, you will be fine with the lawyers at Zaid and Associates. If not, find a different personal injury lawyer!
