About Jeff Musslewhite

Jeff Musslewhite, a Houston native, earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin before returning to Houston to begin his legal career. Early on, he contributed to a significant wrongful death trial, Chick Kam Choo v. Exxon Corp., where plaintiffs secured a verdict exceeding $12 million. Inspired by the profound impact of such cases, Jeff pursued his law degree at The University of Baltimore School of Law and later attended South Texas College of Law as a visiting student. While in Washington, D.C., he worked for Congressman Nick Lampson, gaining valuable exposure to public service. Jeff has represented clients defrauded by leading brokerage firms and successfully recovered millions in losses, often exceeding national averages. He later joined his father in advocating for personal injury plaintiffs, securing substantial settlements, including a multi-million-dollar recovery before verdict. Jeff co-founded Brown & Musslewhite in 2012 and has continued representing individuals injured as the result of the negligence of others and has successfully recovered tens of millions of dollars for his clients. Jeff believes in treating clients like family and is dedicated to guiding them through litigation with empathy and diligence. He resides in Houston with his wife and three children and is committed to supporting local charities. Jeff is a member of the American Association for Justice and Who’s Who in North America.
