My initial consultation was with Jim Carpenter an attorney with J. David Tax Law Group. Mr Carpenter listen carefully to the issues I was facing with the IRS, in my case a meeting with an IRS revenue officer, along with my questions and concerns, and gave me his thoughts regarding how he saw the meeting playing out. He suggested that the initial meeting did not seem to require an attorney and depending upon the IRS's meeting follow up to my meeting with the IRS when and how he and his law firm may be of service. Mr. Carpenter was not selling anything and gave surprisingly thoughtful advice for an initial "free" consultation. I will certainly follow up with Mr. Carpenter if an when his services are required.

This firm did wonderful work fighting the IRS in an audit. They have a dedicated CPA to do tax returns and even went back and constructed five years of P&Ls for an old business that's now shutdown. We won the audit against the IRS!
